I am from the UK and if you cant choose the country in the EU... then it is the USA. There is no way I could live in certain European countries.

Your right, I switch to USA.

But if you're born in Europe you can move to any country any time ;)

There's the language barrier of course, but that's it.

I dont think thats in the spirit of the poll really...   You draw Albania you stay in Albania...

but to counter if you are in the states you can also move to any state....

The situation he presented was being born in Europe, so I assumed the option is still there, that's one of the benefits of it after all.

Of course, you could move anywhere in the US. Perhaps the OP can clarify that point.

Sure but as a child you most likely don't have this luxury.  You are choosing where you would be born and then raised.  So you will be spending most your life in whatever country you land in.  If you want to take the ability to move during your adulthood into consideration that is fine but its not as simple as just moving countries.

And as kowenicki said you could do the same as an adult in the US.  You could move to the larger cities where you can enjoy more a liberal leaning atmosphere (in the modern political meaning)

That's what I assumed actually. So I guess my answer remains Europe. Having a shitty childhood and then moving is pretty much what I did anyway.

Okay, so that isn't an issue. Now imagine being french. Could you deal with it? :P

I would prefer to be born again in EU.

Hey, I have met nice French people. Not only French, but Parisians. True story.

(Seriously, nothing against the French).

Europe. Specially for the culture, history, and possibility to visit different countries at the expense of a single train ticket
