Judging by our short time with the handheld, we’re sure many parents of young children will probably be picking up the handheld for their child considering how durable it is, as well as it being safer considering it doesn’t have deliver any 3D images. It also helps the Nintendo 2DS is very comfortable to use.: http://www.ubergizmo.com/2013/10/hands-on-nintendo-2ds-review/?utm_source=mainrss

It sounds like a good idea from nintendo.

If you have a 3DS, there is no reason to buy a 2DS. So no, I didn't buy one. I am surprised by the overall good reviews, though. I thought reviewers would completely hate it and give it extreme flack for it's design. Nice surprise.

My gripe with the 3DS and 2DS is battery life. Another gripe with the 2DS is that it's not clamshell design for better portability.

Love the price, hate the design. Guess it doesn't matter since I'm not 6, LOL. :p

I'll probably save up for an XL instead.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21
