Have you seen the trailer? When Jodie is holding the telephone, and crying?

It blew my mind in terms of graphics.

I have and well.. I dunno. Youtube compression and all doesnt work well for me xD

Yeah, i saw you playing the demo. How did you like it? Man i liked it so much, no i ended pre ordering the game because of it.

Exactly what I expected from QD.

If there's a tiny complain I have, is that the soundtrack doesn't catch up with the action. There's a moment on which you blast through the SWAT team with a motorcycle and the music is just not that fitting for such a moment. Other than that, graphics, gameplay and overall satisfaction are high!

Combat is pretty easy, but I think the meat goes to Aidan's gameplay!

Just played the demo and wow...

the visuals can pass as an early PS4 game, one of the greatest looking games I've ever played, it just looks so god damn realistic compared to other games, Quantic Dream's next gen engine is the best I've ever seen. To get this running on 256MB of VRAM is..just wow.

EASILY, this gen's graphic king, shits all over The Last Of us and I enjoyed the hell out of the demo to boot, completely sold on the game now.

To be fair, there's not much going on in the back ground in Beyond, so they can get that much more graphical punch out of it without much difficulty. If I'm not mistaken, it's primaily a QTE game like Heavy Rain without much pure gameplay.

You're mistaken.

Quite mistaken. But then, that's generally the case with QD games. Besides, I don't know where the idea of "pure game-play" came from.

Hah! People is too quicky to judge something.

I too played the demo last night, and I couldn't believe the visuals! The PS3 just keeps on giving amazing visuals for it's hardware. God of War 3 and Ascension, Uncharted 3, The Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls, and Gran Turismo 6 are all breathtaking.
And correction for those who claim "only" 256MB VRAM for the game. You are partly correct but the game uses approximately 448MB of total RAM across CELL and RSX. Obvious optimizations are obvious such as RSX using XDR RAM while CELL's SPUs implemented efficiently.

Gameplay was great too. Surprising actually as early footage left me skeptical.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

It GT6 running on a PS3? I don't know... these games looks like next-gen.

Some pictures seem they have dived deep into the uncanny valley.

Good luck next gen David, you will gona need if you want no script combat and world exploration.
