This is not surprising and well deserved.

How so? Appla alone is certainly way more deserving, outside of windows monopoly they have been living off for decades,  MS has more missues then hits. Behind every trend the last decade plus.

What has apple done to inspire you in america?

umm, do you really need to ask that question? The iphone and ipad are the single biggest tech products of the last decade..... It transformed mobile.

I do not believe Apple did anything close to Microsoft or even Google in the past few years (after the iPhone/iPad) to justify the top spot in that list.
Microsoft is also one of the company who put the most money in R&D; not always coming out with successful hits but still, the effort is here...

And finally... Bill Gates, Steeve Balmer; I greatly respect those people.

But of course it is a matter of oppinion.

So, a survey that is done yearly, and you choose a company's accomplishments from 3+ years ago?

That yellow....

I feel inspired every time I take a bite of a Big Mac.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Did you read the OP? It goes beyond what products they offer, it's how they operate as a company.

MS is a very charitable company at heart, and immensly progressive within social issues like LGBT (one of the first american companies to really route for those rights)
