TLOU, GTA's world and detail are amazing, but it'story isn't that good, and many of the things to do in the game are pointless and feel tacked on. The shooting is still average as well.

WTF? it's nothing like a david cage game, the stealth, comabt are outstanding..................How is it not a good game? Not one review agrees with you. The melee combat is amongst the most brutal and well made ever.

I voted The Last of Us, but I just like good games. TLOU and GTA V just happened to stick out the most for me, as for which is better both are amazing. That is all.

GTA 5 for me. Gameplay is king, and I frankly just have a lot more fun playing GTA. TLOU still has the better story, but GTA beats it in every other way.

TLOU because quality > quantity (thats not to say either game does not possess both but TLOU feels far better in terms of general mechanics and story. The mechanics part is due to TLOU being linear and GTAV being good for being sandbox but not up there with linear games. GTAVs biggest triumph is its freedom but as of late: Too many games do what they do, even if it isnt quite as good as GTAV. (Eg. Saints Row series, Sleeping Dogs, Mafia, GTAIV, Just Cause 2 etc etc)
