Forums - Microsoft Discussion - LOLtaku: Why I'm A Little Bit Worried About Kinect

Kinect sports rivals isnt a launch title its release is early 2014 so im sure the bugs will be sorted. I agree with your choice of games that worked with kinect but you should have Fruit ninja and the 1st kinect sports

So 90% of the time Kinect feels like a hindrance, and they have based their entire nest gen strategy on it. I'm kind of glad, just because it increases the odds they'll drop it by next year in time for a Halo 5 bundle.

So are you guys interested in Kinect or only trolling Kinect? Because trolling is against the forum rules.

Since when did you read the forum rules?

I'm pretty sure everyone here is interested in Kinect, hence they clicked on a thread about kinect, read an article about kinect, and posted a comment about kinect.

Strangely, you were the first to not post on topic about kinect itself...

On topic: Kinect 2 is great. Something must have been up with the demo.

which is probably why the game was pushed back

Could just be old code or some other technical issue. The reports from D4 showcase were really positive. So giving them a benefit of doubt. Kotaku is crap anyways.

Could care less for Kinect as a gaming device. I rather use it to function the UI.

Kinect for me is all about the UI and multimedia features. Any gaming application is icing on the cake. Though this is the first really negative thing I have read about it.

Not interested at all in motion control gaming but everything else the Kinect does is what has my interest.

That is odd when I looked at a video for Kinect Sports Rivals the face scanning worked without a problem and the resulting avatar had a strong resemblance to the actual person. Also the game is not a launch title they still have plenty of time to resolve any bugs and polish the game more.

That's the miraculous thing about pr videos of any game: Everything works flawlessly...
