Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft on Xbox One: "We are winning the games message"

"But we got clear feedback that some of the things we were proposing were perhaps a little* too far into the future. So we changed. We took feedback from the community; we changed our plans.

No just fanboys like u disagree lol x1 has a better line up deal with it lol

The common seems to be that the Xbone has more appealing games for launch and on the horizon. But the PS4 seems to be the prefered console for most people.

But the best games are third party anyway so I don´t really know how much MS will profit from the more appealing lineup

I prefer the Sony lineup, and it has much wider range of games also which is important. I am talking between launch and Xmas. On the whole i don't think either is amazingly strong, but I like Killzone so thats a plus point. But I am buying lots of 3rd party games that are on both platforms. I'm sure there are people out there who don't think much of 1st part on either machine and are buying based on 3rd party games.

In terms of longer term, obviously Infamous is coming out and that looks amazing. The only issue for Sony right now is Titanfall... it is becoming a bit of a love letter with the Press... and getting a lot of attention. This may have an impact on console sales, will all depend on how many buy PC and if the truth about multiplatform onto PS4 becomes known before release.

But I would say it's pretty even on the games message right now, but Sony has lots of nice indie titles to fill the need for something different (and cheaper).

Ps - oh also PS4 has lots of lovelly F2P MMO's coming out on their platform... which is definately worth a few plus points.

Well he is certainly right from my point of view. PS4 has nothing that comes anywhere close to Titanfall.

its called modern warfare call of duty and it have dogs and its multiplatform

Exactly. You can't put that feather in PS4's cap since it's also on Xbox One (and in better form with dedicated servers).

Meanwhile PS4 has no Titanfall. Have you seen Titanfall? PS4 loses. All imho of course.

multiplayer only, zzzzz, big deal...  lotta sony ppl also have pc's,and they can play it day 1 if they wanted.. or just get it on the ps4 10 months from now, probably with better textures/shading and framerate.. of just get destiny/the division if they want an online only game that looks better. all imho of course.

Man some really low standard comments here...Some can people can't stand that a msft exec thinks his console has the better games. Lol

They are clearly winning the games message and I'm very glad about that after their PR fiasco.
Haters may disagree (which is kind of expected, right?) but they have to deal with it :)

Unfortunately for his statement the preorder numbers don't bear that out...

Oh, so you have some magical source out there giving you exact pre-order numbers for both machines? You should share this information then, if not; your post is just plain random to me...

Honestly as far as launch line-ups go, it's a wash IMO. It really boils down to your preferences.

meh.

if you want to look at launch titles things seems to be a wash.  pretty much evenly matched on exclusives count so it's just up to you to prefer one franchise over another.    but if you want to look at launch windows playstation is clearly winning.

I disagree, Sonys launch games are better IMO sense I don't really care for racing games (Forza) and have never been interested in the Dead rising franchise. Also Ryse has been getting a lot of mixed opinions so I'm not really looking forward to it. Killzone caught my interest sense its reveal in February and has impressed a lot of people that have tried it. If were talking about launch window games then I would defiantly prefer PS4's lineup just because Infamous looks Incredible. (: Its really up to your opinion of the games so everyone will have differing opinions on this.
