Could be various reasons.

- Game is only available in English (except subtitles of course)
- Lots of mainland Europeans are buying from the UK since it's much cheaper
- Germany has the highest amount of PC players in Europe (unless you'd count Russia, but you should get the point) and too many old citizens who in general aren't into videogames
- Italy has much better weather

The dominance of the UK is mostly due to imports. I am 4000km away from England and only import from there. A lot of people do the same.

The sales of this game can match GTA 4 in the first week. That is insane.

I think it's just a cultural thing. In my experience mainland Europeans spend more time outside and less time at home in general than the British. More hours of sunlight, better weather, more pedestrian cities...

UK is the cheapest place to buy games in Europe, and personally I don't know a single person that isn't buying his/her games in UK. (I'm in Croatia btw)

It would maybe even be 60:40, if there was no America, the by far single biggest market will have a ratio of around 60:40 maybe even closer to 65:35 in favor of the 360. That should even it out WW, probably it put the 360 version in front, that's my guess.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
