I tried looking to see if they confirmed a conference/keynote for TGS this year ever since someone on the N4G comments claimed they had a 90-minute conference for it but I've seen nothing at all. The only thing I've seen is that they'll have a booth and 8 games to show. As far as what Phil Spencer said, I'd be careful taking his word on anything. He made claims of announcements for PAX that led people to believe new exclusives would be revealed and as far as I know, no such thing happened. The tweet he made about TGS was to clarify that they did not have some RPG to announce like some rumors were suggesting but that he believes they have some "announcements". Without any confirmation for a Japanese release date yet and looking like it will be a ways off, I would be surprised if they tried to show off new games at TGS.

their "studio osaka" should have at least a trailer or something. they are pretty new but most people in japan do probably not even know about this studio.

but if i remember correct some microsoft guy said some weeks ago that they won't have a new jrpg at tgs

360 sales in the early years disagree with you, bro. They were like 15-50 times higher than they are now. You ask "why bother showing games if they won't buy the console" and I reply with "why even bother going to TGS if you have nothing to show?"

The reason MS is there is because they are looking to get Japanese developer support and they probably lined up a few deals. No the X1 probably will nto sell in Japan again but MS needs to keep working with developers there so if any game will be made that will release in the western world, they need to get it on the X1.
