i think this is the first time i seen this. gamers complain about lack of games being announced when their were many games announced. do people really think that Shadow of the beast is an indie game? if so, bring me more indie games just like that. what about the rime game? an open world game exploring an ancient civilization. i mean really?! and they are complaining?

Given the Chinese way of manufacturing things, that chinese game probably has 56'000 slaves working on it....

Why announce AAA games now when your already doing amazing?  Why not wait til sales simmer down, then boom uncharted 4.

VGA 2013 as always.

We think equally.

I made a big mistake... I said 14 new games but Sony announced 21 new games today for PS4 at the conference.

Switch Galaxy Ultra
Samurai Gunn

#1- MS never follows suit(or rarely). X1 policy reversal was to the actual one on 360.

Already beating the competition 4-1.
Already 1m+ consoles preordered (not sure but probably in the top 3 of preorder numbers ever, if not #1)
Needing to announce huge aaa games....

i have no idea what you are talking about. the devs are from spain

If you have more than 1 million pre order already over 32 country and you competition is releasing first in only 13 country. If it looks like you are ahead or close in North America with the Xbox one who is without a doubt Microsoft territory, and Halo doesn't have a launch date yet not even a gameplay. So why would you rush announcing everything. Does Xbox one have any must buy day one exclusive, or a system seller coming out.
It looks to me like Sony has only being reacting so far : 1)Microsoft got killed for DRM and they react by announcing they would not do this and they will be cheaper.
Until Microsoft announces Halo or any other major exclusive, Sony has no reason to be in rush with the way things are going now for them

#1)
too much indie games don't reduce or harm in any way the number, quantity or quality of the standard games.
One thing (indies) has absolutely nothing to do with the other thing.

the start - line up is much better than it was for ps3 and can compete with the xbox1.
there also are enough new ip's.

Expectations of gamers=their fantasys can't be satisfied as they stopped long time ago being realistic or thankfull for what they get. They now mostly complain about things they don't get.

#2
gaikai=innovative????(but i'm pretty sure you have realised that both (ms/sony) were really busy to please the core gamer and avoided focus on non core gaming aspects as much as they could-we haven't heard much about eyetoy3,kinect2,or TV .The focus and stuff still exists but they want to keep the gamer quiet ,calmed and pleased and avoid another shitstorm.
I'm pretty sure there is more to come(gaikai could be used as cheap gaming flatrate(eg:pay 10dollars a month and play as much as you want.Especially for poorer people a great offer)
#3
natural law:the old console has always more to offer than the new one, especially when sales are good.
the only way to prevent this is abandoning the old console like ms did with the first xbox-and many people don't like that american way of business.
And you have to respect a 80mio userbase.
