This thread blew up faster then I expected. Either way this is a genius idea, I think people not seeing this, just don't understand football. It's going to win over some Sony fans and many that have never bought a Xbox.

And your GIF is absolutly perfect for this thread.

This is a major cue for Xbox, I did not see this coming.  And I may have joked about it at E3 - "shows US Football" says, "They should get the other football too!" (You know, the kind they play in Europe.)

There have been a few back and forth, but this seems like a big one.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

So when people talk BS, especially the same people that talked BS again and again in the past, I should just let them spread their BS?

Sorry, but I just can't do that.
Especially when you look at the people doubting the benefits of such a huge sponsoring deal. Enditall, A_C_E, 007BondAgent, ... the usual suspects are at it again.

This is positive news for Xbox One, this must be "yeah, but..." stuff!

Oh yes Dirtyp2002, keep me in line with your wizardry of knowledge. My main point was against the OP, not the Xbox One. Read the original post and then read my statement. My response came from the OP's major over-exageration like  it was the end of the next gen already. Then I come up with a reasonable response and I'm the one spreading bullshit?...right, ok you just keep on 'keeping us all in line', lol.

The Xbox One's sponsored partnership with the NFL is obviously big and yes I doubt its benefits, but that's not to say I think it can't succeed. I do think it can succeed I just don't see how the casual NFLers would go after something like this when your paying over $650 after tax and Xbox-Live. Then you have the hardcore NFLers who are already setup for NFL every year before the season starts so why would they replace their old entertainment method for $650 to make their experience a little more appealing?

Now you can either come up with an arguement or you could call some random people out and call them BSers again.

I think you need to take a class, this is as big as i have made it.

Yes this is the end of the next gen. SONY IS DOOMED>

I don't really know what you mean by, 'this is as big as i have made it'. I also don't know what I should take a class in since you didn't reveal which class I should take so now my successful life is ruined because I don't know which classes to take.

Sony is DOMED!!!1!!!! not DOOMED>. So when does next-next gen start?

NFL Sunday Ticket offerings include player tracker with real-time scores and stats. The only leap from this point to fantasy league is your brain.

The NFL fantasy football app is different from my understanding and not directly involved. To which are you referring?

"Many of us" - another logical fallacy is attempting to speak for others. While I understand your personal appeal to the device, this in no way provides any logical argument that it's anything other than atypical. Most people know how to press the input button on their remote to switch between devices, I'm sorry your wife is completely incapable of rather simple tasks.

You know you can have a mature discussion or you can continue to go down and insult people. There is no need for that sort of crap.  Maybe you should mature a little.

Maybe you have never seen a home theater system, but they are a bit more complex then that.  There is a whole consumer electronics category dedicated to high end universal remotes that try to make things easier. Is that category simply useless? Do they have no customers?  I think not.  When you multiple input devices, TV with multiple inputs, AV Receiver, etc. all from different manufacturers it can be complex.  Sure it has gotten easier with products like harmony remotes.  Still things are complicated and when they go wrong and unfortunately they do it isnt always a simple task.

So got home to give you some concrete evidence. Fired up the DirectTv box and it took 1 minute and 28 seconds to bring up the NFL Fantasy Sports app sign in screen.  Then shut it down and did it a couple of times again to see if any data/code us cached and yes it is so subsequent times it only took 40 seconds.  Still painfully slow.

You're really good at largely ignoring my post and responding to what you feel like I said instead.

Where was the insult? You admitted your wife finds hitting the input button cumbersome. I empathize with that; my mother is the same way, but it's a rather simple task to switch between devices. At most, you use two or three remotes. Most of the components hook up to the theater system itself. You may need to use a separate remote to actually turn on the television. It's not remotely complicated. (Ha)

Cool, you've address the initially load. Now address how long it takes to actually view the content. And then address my other question as you ignored it completely. Oh, I suppose you can't because you don't have NFL sunday ticket effectively proving that you're nothing but another MS pundit who trumps up everything with that name to it.

That some pretty realistic graphics there. Which button creates that play?

I hope it's not via kinect body tracking... :-O

OT: Yeah, XB1 advertising is going to be in full force here in NA for Madden, football season - anything related to the NFL.

Why? You have a thing against interracial marriage?

Look how well the chocolate and vanilla go together - what could be more natural:

You forgot to put the ps eye camera in the equation, i know it's just an option but some were doing that in order to make the xbox one look better.

After the Eye Camera then the Xbox is cheaper. But what does that have to do with PS4, Xbox and Fifa?

I think we can all agree that the Xbox One offers more hardware than the PS4, its quite obvious. But still:

PS4 + Fifa = $460

One + Fifa = $500

The PS4 is the PS4, unless your trying to justify your purchase and want either the Kinect or Eye Camera but don't bring that into the conversation as your arguement because most PS users don't even care about the Eye Camera so why would they bother buying it? PS users are spending $400 for their console of choice, that's that. Xbox users are spending $500 on their console of choice, that's that. Whichever one seems more enjoyable is the system they will buy. But still:

PS4 + Fifa = $460

One + Fifa = $500

As people can see, the PS4 with Fifa is still cheaper. Now people know this: $460 is less than $500. Anyone who thinks otherwise is math deficient, but with proper schooling these guys will eventually see which is cheaper, and then they can finally admit it.
