Not to us gamers, but to any casual. You can walk up to anyone and they could name that caracther.

I think we can all agree that Nintendo has the most recognizable video game caracthers in the world. Weather it be Mario, Luigi, or Pikachu.

But to me, it would have to be Pac-Man hands down.

Obviously Pac-Man, he's the original mascot.

I go with Pikachu, even none gamers knows that yellow rat because of the Anime. Lol

Pac-man again hasn't been relevant for many years.

So to casual gamers he's even less recognizable than compared to dedicated gamers.

No chance in hell more people would be able to identify Pac-Man over Mario.



A lot of them would probably mistake him for a yellow M&M or something.

Definitely Mario the poster child of Nintendo. Mario has as much star power as Mickey Mouse.

Mario or Pikachu.  Pikachu maybe, because he was in that cartoon forever which every little kid made their parents watch. Pacman is another one that's just hazy to compare. I remember being taught a > or < sign is a pacman without the circle, so it could definetly be the most popular. My knee-jerk reaction was mario, but I thought about it, and Im not sure.
