For a while now SurferGirl and more recently SkaterBoy have flooded the web with rumours.

I'd like to keep a list of the Wii-related rumours to check the validity of their statements. (I'm sure Soriku believes it all as long as Kingdom Hearts is mentioned). Red will be debunked, green will be correct. Does anyone have more SG/SB rumours?

1. Kingdom Hearts 3 will come to Wii
2. An exclusive Metal Gear game will come to Wii, related to GBC: Metal Gear: Ghost Babel
3. Factor5 is making Turrican for Wii, a mix between Metroid and Shadow of the Colossus
4. Timesplitters 4 could be Wii exclusive
5. The Suikoden franchise moves from Playstation to Wii
6. A sequel to Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is in the making
7. Custom Robo will come to Wii
8. Retro is working on a Zelda spin-off
9. Star Fox is in development at an external developer
10. Golden Sun won't come to Wii but to DS
11. Mother/Earthbound could already come to Wii in 2008
12. Animal Crossing will be released in 2009
13. PROBE has an exclusive Wii game that will be unveiled before TGS. SEGA has an option on the publishing rights
14. Nintendo will give the Wii a "power boost" soon
15. Beyond Good and Evil 2 will come to Wii, PS3 and 360
16. Mega Man will be in Brawl (we can consider that one false I guess)

I'm pretty sure this person just writes whatever sounds semi-feasible and will garner attention.

Timesplitters 4 exclusive would be awesome, imagine the controls. I like FPS all of the sudden better thanks to the WII controls, normally I hate them... because of the analogue controls.

I think so to, therefore the list. I keep hearing that she was right a few times. If they predicts over 75% I think they can be called credible.

Surfer girl is such an idiot, just says anything to get attention. Noone has that many contacts in the gaming industry...

The Suikoden rumour isn't SurferGirl only, it was also rumoured in more credible sources.  Let's hope... A good RPG is always nice.

how amazing would this be if it became true. this would make me one happy wii owner and fan boy's would not be able to say wii don't have games anymore lol

Ah, but someone that worked at say, Nintendo of America, or even a grunt at Nintendo power could hear rumors like that and pass them onto the internet.

That was also account for some of the rumors being wrong. I'm sure the rumors start spreading internally long before the actual deals are ironed out, and I guarntee you rumors about the competition also run rampant.

Just saying, anything is possible. We've heard of this person for a reason.

 There are plenty of people who have enough gaming contacts to get this level of information. Not a one of them is stupid enough to post it on the internet though. Revealing big secrets is a quick way to get fired and sued. Leaks like these are very traceable.

Like I said though, rumors within, say, Nintendo powers english branch are still only rumors, but much more likely to be true than say, someones internet guess. What if this person is simply posting rumors she heard around her office at Nintedo of America, or some such place, not necessarily hard facts that she is only privy too.
