So what do you think? Is the PS4 a failure in concept or execution? Is it neither or both? Why?

I don't know,it wasn't released yet to call it a failure in execution. In concept hmmm I at least don't think so, the concept is games and social. I could be without social but they have a focus on games so. I think it's not a failure as of now

It's a failure in the conceptualized execution of the executable concept that executes backwards compatibility.

*facepalm* is this still due to the "confirmed" amount of RAM available to devs for games? Last I checked, the PS4 is STILL launching with 8gb of RAM. Not once did Sony say "Our OS only uses up 1gb of ram, the rest is games" so I don't know where all complaining is coming from. Didn't everybody complain about the PS3 OS and how slow it was but now that they are allocating plenty of RAM for their OS, ppl are still complaining. I swear gamers can be so fickle.

It is neither because it is pure greatness. You know like greatness awaits. Or maybe they are lying, that would be in line with Sony's usual agenda.

I dunno about the PS4, but this thread is a failure in both concept and execution.

The comparison is ridiculous, happyD. One console is already out and has seen lackluster sales. The other isn't going to be released for another four months.

Last time I checked, the PS4 was on the way of creating it's own religion, with GDDR5 as it's prophet and saviour.
