I would be certain the 3DS could do that as the camera do do that doesn't have to be that powerful.  Rather certain that even with the quality of the 'Jenny Macarthy Fitness game' (I forget exactly what it was caled) for the Wii could do it.

And I think you are fogetting the original Kinect could do that in certain games like the plushy Kinectimals had a scanable code to unlock extra animals.

Good news and bad new guys.

Good News- Forza 5 looks amazing and im sure it plays amazing too.

Bad News - There is only 14 Tracks at launch. Must've been stressed to make launch release.

Hopefully more tracks will be added soon enough.

Alan Wake was a really great game, but consider this: 343i made a fantastic game (Halo 4, 2012) on a console that released in November 2005, on top of that it's their very first major game as a team.

Voting Halo 5. I'm really excited for both these games. I may have even voted Quantum Break against KI! Nothing beats Halo though, especially pure 1080 60fps Halo adultery.

Such an agonizing choice for me. On the one hand, Halo is Halo. That franchise pretty much turned me into a real gamer. Halo 4 was 343's first crack at the game, and it was amazing. Best story ever imo in Halo, great overhaul of the engine, some cool new ideas. Multiplayer fell short, but with the Halo 5 they could really knock it out of the ballpark. On the other hand we have Remedy, one of my all time favorite developers, and the creators of Alan Wake, which was my number one game of this generation. Back with Quantum Break, a new IP I know very little about except.....I just have a feeling about it. I mean everything they've said so far just sounds so fantastic....Max Payne style gameplay, Alan Wake style story, tied in directors cut TV show that's actually tailored to your playthrough, awesome art style.

Voted Quantum since it is Remedy's and I'm not a fan of Halo.

An ARCADE  port of the Original is bundled for all those who purchase the killer instinct ultra edition.

Thats why i'm so curious as to wether we get Original killer instinct with our free copy.

It's crazy. I honestly didn't expect Quantum Break to make it this far, now it's taking on Halo.

Win or lose here and it's already won. I have a good feeling about it too...  I just couldn't vote against Halo.
