Very tempting, but I like my boxed copies. I will probably end up paying the same price at retail as the eshop with discounts anyway. If they're totally addictive games though, I might download them just to have them at the touch of a button.

If north america hasn't received this promotion it probably is based on results about digital buys. I think Europe buy more digital games than North America. My opinion. If Nintendo has demonstrated something about their 30 years is that they know how the market behaves. They can sell less than any other hardware but are almost never hit by losses.

I beleive its the opposite, Europe doesnt buy digitally as much so this deal is to lure them in.
This is the reason Sony released the 12gb PS3 in Europe and not NA
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
If I had a Wii U and lived in EU, I'd totally take this deal! Here's hoping that NA does a W101 hands-on event prior to release.

But I don't think Europeans got $30 eShop credit for registering both Fire Emblem and SMT IV. The promotions balance out. |
NA got the $30 deal.
Tis fair I guess.

They need to push promotions like this much moreso.
What about if you purchase Sonic Lost World, Batman: AO, Rayman, Monster Hunter Tri G, Watchdogs, or one of the other major third party releases (digital or retail) and register it, you get 30% off The Wonderful 101 on the eShop all through the holiday season?
Why not Nintendo? Make third parties happy and get more people playing 101 and see if it can't become a long term franchise?
Every new Wii U should also come with a playable demo or at least a developer video on this game pre-installed IMO.
I think Nintendo Club should be changed up too, so that you recieve bonuses for purchasing games like Wonderful 101 and third party titles that might be a tougher sell. Buy Wonderful 101 or Bayonetta 2 and hey you recieve a special Mario Hat or Smash Bros figurines or something (I'm sure someone can think of something better, but you get the idea).
Stronger pre-order bonuses on these games too.
