Yeah, but it would take longer. Especially with a larger bulborb. Those pikmin bitches are my slaves, their lives are meaningless to me.


You have plenty of time to do all you need to, especially if you're in a cave, so the 5 seconds saved is not worth the loss of life. Also, larger bulborbs? Please don't tell me you were sacrificing whites to kill dwarf bulborbs when they can already be one-shoted. Whites may be the least useful type but come on mawn! And how can you say Pikmim are worthless when without them the captains can't do jack?


There are really big bulborbs, and those are the only ones I use whites on, but I'm mostly just kidding. :)

 

Least useful type? They can spot underground stuff, go through poison, are the fastest, and kill enemies that eat them, how are they least useful? 



Their additional speed isn't needed for anything, and you're generally trying not to get your Pikmin eaten and attacking enemies with reds and purples. Plus they're not that easy to obtain, and you'll only ever need 5-15 at a time just for buried treasure and poison emitters.

Have to go with the Purple ones just because they destroyed everything in Pikmin 2! Just toss one on the ground near something and it dazed the creature but id admit they did made Pikmin 2 a walkthrough if you farmed enough of them

Yea, but they were a pain to bring along, and separate for battles. I much prefer bringing an army so I can carry the bodies of the enemies home and eat them in my onion........yea....

I voted Blue, I feel Red, Blue, and Yellow are the only "true" pikmin, and the others feel a bit like gimmicks. I voted blue because I hate having a battle near a puddle and seeing so many Pikmin drown.....

Yellow is cool too, very practical, I think the Daddy Long Legs boss in Pikmin 1 was the best boss in the game, and he required yellow pikmin to beat.

I've not played with the new ones so my favorite one is the Purple until I've had a chance to see how the new ones perform in the game.

Although on the real, I hope Pikmin 3 is as fun as Pikmin 2 was.

I'm betting this is what Pikmin 3's ranking will be:

#1. Winged
#2. Rock
#3. Blue
#4. Yellow
#5. Red

Yeah, the new guys seem really really good this time around. Blue v.s. Yellow is once again really hard to decide who's top dog as with Pikmin 2, but I heard that they nerfed electricity so it doesn't insta kill anymore. Not sure if that's true, but if it is then it definitely puts Blues above Yellows.

The whole Bulbmin thing is just sad really. They're just there minding their own business when Olimar shows up, kills their mother, forces them to do his selfish bidding, then just leaves them to die.

Pikmin has always been one of Nintendo's most brutal and disturbing franchises when you think about it. Hundreds of cute little helpful plant based beings used by potentially cruel alien (you/Olimar) to invade scavenge and depending on how good you are ultimately many of them either left to die or die for a cause they probably don't understand.

The whole thing makes it painful for me whenever I lose one of them due to negligence or random monster eating them without me knowing.

Well it's more of a mutually beneficial relationship. Olimar get's ship parts/treasure while Pikmin increase in numbers and get trained.
