Obviously there are quite a few copies in the retail chain, VGC has it at around 2m (or will do at the end of its 3rd week)

The real question is how many people downloaded it? It will be an interesting trend to look at

I was lucky to get a copy from the 2nd shipment. First was sold out instantly, second week's shipment only had a few copies left.

Those sales are well deserved. I'm on my second play through now and it's very rare that I'm almost equally immersed in a game the second time around, especially straight after finishing it the first time.

I went to several shops here in germany last week and couldn't find a copy.

Naughty Dog just keeps pumping out these amazing games over and over for Sony.  Sony is so lucky they have Naughty Dog, the best developer in the industry today.

where i live we only have Blockbuster, Sainsburys and morrisons who sell games as all 3 have been out of the game since launch day.

Sony now have another healthy IP, too. To go along with Gran Turismo, Uncharted, God of War and LittleBigPlanet.

MORE new IP on PS4 is only a good thing. So many franchises. So many games.

For those with a backlog you should move it to your top priority! It's what I did and I still got 6 games to finish. The only problem is that I'm just stuck playing TLOU and haven't touched the backlog lol.

Yeah so 2 million sales according to VGC by about the same time. I think the initial shipment was probably 3 million units and there's been 400K digital sales.

I swear, with the 500GB HDDs and the giveaway games for PSN+ and Goldmembers (probably) there's almost no use in VGC tracking software sales on Xb one or PS4, if a game like TLOU is selling (sell through) 20% of the total.

Yeah man, Its not surprising at all. Its propably the best game this gen along with Uncharted2.
