Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Xbox Fans are called gropers in Japan.

ooopsy I thought you guys actually lived in Japan.... well yeah in the US the anime genre has a pretty marginal name.... I lived there from 2005 to 2012 and beside adult swim and a few other spot if you just have basic cable you don't get much..... on the other hand here in France where I'm from.... we have had anime since the early 80's we were one of the first country to import japanese animation on mainstream TV and it is less present now.... so most anime fans here are in their 30s.... I was surprised with the big comic culture in the US that the anime genre didn't get more traction....
saying it's for kids is plain wrong.... heck even pixar movies for that matter are not just for kids there are plenty of lines that are not understood by kids and aimed at adults only.... but anime has material for pretty much anybody...

my bad for the mixup

Interesting.

I posting that from a Japanese point of view, because he was talking about how this was ok there and not here. I was saying it's largely looked upon the same way.

Also, most Americans (and anime fans) know very little if anything about air times, popularity, etc.

Ah, I see. Simple misunderstanding.

If I've learnt anything from Japanese erotica it's that they're big on molestation and forced-sex fantasies, so this should be great news for the Xbox brand.

I read that there is some kind of sex themed structure that looks just like a subway car, that you can pay to go in and legally grope some (hopefully paid) japanese women.  lol they are all crazy.

Wow?  Really?  That's just ... crazy and ridiculous .........

And I lose more respect for Japan.

It's starting to look more and more like a cartoon equivalent of red-neck part of the USA with is bias, blind arrogance and bullying.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

I live in Japan.
I take the morning train.
It's stuffed.
I touch.
I get phone numbers.

How Sneaky! They are using the plural to protect him.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

You seem to take the internet too seriously. I embrace cockroach and groper because it is called a sense of humor. I mean I call it worse that fanboy is band here,  troll, and most humor since games are supposedly serious business.

Yes because 2chan is the collection consciousness of Japan... just like how 4chan is a healthy representation of Western culture and ideal :P
