Trayvon Martin is a thug. He attacked Zimmerman and was shot for it. Should have just gone home. Zimmerman was not the crusader the media portrayed him to be at all.

We can all rest easy knowing there is one less criminal on earth.

It is kinda hard to feel sorry for what sounds like a street thug.

This is true but how do we know that he is a thug?

How would Zimmerman know that he was a thug the night this incident happened? Wasn't he looked at as being a thug because he was flicking off the camera and smoking on twitter or something like that?

I also have a hard time finding something good to say about Martin.  From what the trial is showing, he wasn't an angel.  Then again, neither was Zimmerman.  There wasn't a good guy and bad guy.  Personality isn't on trial, though.  The only thing that should matter is whether or not a crime was committed.

Meh, Zimmerman brought this on himself by playing the role of a wannabe cop. If this was a nice neighborhood that doesn't have that many black people, then great. He could have just eyeballed Treyvon all night long like some security guard would. I dont see why a fight would have to develop unless zimmerman would have started itt.

Also, Zimmerman will never get his police job that he's wanted his whole life. No force would want to have somebody that already killed somebody and have his hiring turn into a circus. No fukking way.

He's been out of work for over a year now, and is a fatass to boot. He also could be facing prison, time or the remainder of his life. That's a real good life you have zimmerman, dont be dumbass in the future.

This is what i'm starting to think. I'm starting to think that both Trayvon and George reacted to their situations poorly. They both were victims of this racial cycle here on earth that will keep us from coming together.

George saw a black kid walking home and thought he was going to rob a house or something. Why? because of racial stereotypes. Trayvon was walking home and seen a white security guard following him and probably thought " why is this guy consistently following me? Is it because i'm black? Is he going to try to kill me?". Why? because of stereotypes.

They finally confront each other and they both overreacted and now we are here.

Do i think Zimmerman intentionally wanted to kill Trayvon? Probably not

Do i think he followed him because he was black? Probably so

Anybody else watching this?

Maybe it's just due to watching scripted shows before, but both lawyers seem kind of incompetant.

That said, I hope their aren't any kind of riots or anything when the case is over, because the prosecution seems to have really messed up.

A lot of the  prosecution witnesses sounded lik they were supporting the defenses case once they hit cross... seems pretty likely there will be at least some level of reasonable doubt.

Well there are some pretty valid reasons why the prosecution called witnesses that seemed to support the defense.

No. 1 was the neighbor. He was an eye witness and according to Flordia law the prosecution was REQUIRED to call him. They have no choice in the matter. And if they hadn't called him the defense could have asked for a mistrial or at the very least claimed the prosecution was hiding the witness's testimony which would look bad to jurors.

No.2 The voice analysis expert with the FBI would have been called by the defense anyways. Either way, they would have lost some ground with that expert as even after his testimony it will come down to TM's parents saying it's his voice or GZ's parents saying it's his.

Lastly, they are looking incompetent because the case is a bad one. I don't believe the prosecution's hearts are in this. How can it be? The police decided not to arrest the man and it's onlyafter  they have been forced to prosecute due to pressure from outside organizations and probably the belief that there would be massive civil unrest a la Watts in 65 or LA in 92. The more that comes out about this case the more it looks like GZ had indeed a right to feel as though his life was in danger and shot TM in self defense. Just his police interview transcripts and accounts from the officers involved should be enough to sway at least 1 jury member if not all. Unless some eye witness steps forward and say I saw GZ snatch this kid up or just totally discount GZs recolection of events that night I just don't see how they get a conviction.

I don't find the trail itself unjust. TM's parents lost a son and are asking for justice. They deserve to have that. But justice comes in many forms and I personally think justice will be GZ getting a not guilty verdict. The REAL trial will come after that and whether people can accept that and move on peacfully and in good faith. I have my reservations about that.

Comments like that is why the civil rights people are up in arms. George Zimmerman stalked and shot an innocent 17 year old kid because he looked suspicious. I even watched the Sean Hannity interview with Zimmerman (and I hate Sean Hannity) and he basically admitted to having started the confrotation and went on to say it was all part of God's plan- as if murdering a child wasn't enough. I wont rest easy unless the dude gets what he deserves.

What I hate is that they tried to pin 2nd degree on him. SMDH

i live in the general area of this, its all i hear about. let these idiots riot over something stupid, i have something waiting for those idiots if they try rioting by my house, please let me find them on my property.

i feel that they will riot. because i dont think Zimmerman will be convicted. i do not know details, i have stayed out of it and i have no opinion, i dont know enough, nor do i care. it is in court, let them decide.

sure if you just ignore all the facts of the case, and the backgrounds of both people, thats what happened.

but if you actually followed the case you would see there was no racial motive.

and shooting someone who is beating your skull against the pavement, isnt a poor decision.
