This is what i'm starting to think. I'm starting to think that both Trayvon and George reacted to their situations poorly. They both were victims of this racial cycle here on earth that will keep us from coming together.
George saw a black kid walking home and thought he was going to rob a house or something. Why? because of racial stereotypes. Trayvon was walking home and seen a white security guard following him and probably thought " why is this guy consistently following me? Is it because i'm black? Is he going to try to kill me?". Why? because of stereotypes.
They finally confront each other and they both overreacted and now we are here.
Do i think Zimmerman intentionally wanted to kill Trayvon? Probably not
Do i think he followed him because he was black? Probably so |
sure if you just ignore all the facts of the case, and the backgrounds of both people, thats what happened.
but if you actually followed the case you would see there was no racial motive.
and shooting someone who is beating your skull against the pavement, isnt a poor decision.
