Well this thread is full of whining. Color me surprised.


Looks like a great game! I'll be buying it day 1 for X1. The other version(s) are not made by Respawn (from what I understand) but if you all are going to buy one of the other versions yay for you. For the people whining about it not being on PS4 and how it may or may not come to PS4 and MSFT being so evil because they may or may not have paid for exclusive rights get over it. It's a game. Buy it or don't buy it and move on with your life.  If it comes to sony platforms later on yippee.

You're clearly under estimate how much money microsoft has to spend

looking good and i really appreciate that the guy says that there are still problems with the software. their software and ms-software which is no surprise given it's a new gen. i heard ms has little problems with getting the move-engines work efficiently automatically (via compiler) but they will deliver for sure. ms builds compilers since ever and i am looking forward how games will be running on the hardware at the end of this year.

Its not about Microsoft creating exclusives. Its about them every gen digging out of the third party cookie jar because they refuse to measure up to the competition otherwise.

Japanese devs snub the 360 because the Japanese do not desire the Xbox since its essentially the same thing as the PS3. Theres nothing the Xbox has that the PS3 doesn't where it counts and the Japanese know this which is why they mostly ignore the Xbox. Look at the sales of full franchise Halo and Gears  in Japan and you'll see how irrelevant the need is for them to even care. Outside of Square, Capcom and Konami the response of the crowd response of the Japanese still matters and if it was that way for the 360 you to have the games. Sony nor Nintendo even have to lift a finger. Japanese devs would love to put their games on the 360, but the majority of them have games aimed at the Japanese.

Jealousy is an ugly feeling. Microsoft didn't do anything wrong, if you want to play Titanfall buy an MS system or buy a Microsoft Windows PC. You have no reason to whine. Doesn't Son¥ moneyhats Japanese devs for them to snub Nintendo and MS?

it's on PC and 360, so it isn't exclusive to X1.

plus, it will likely come to PS4 at a later date, similar to ME or Bioshock

Well, how many times have you heard of EA letting go of an IP that they had a stake in?  You probably havent, because publishers dont get as big as EA by selling off IP's... They hoard them.  EA isnt going to let it go, or at least not cheaply.  Microsoft isnt stupid, and neither is EA.  the long term viability of a franchise like titanfall is going to be worth a lot more than a one time payment from microsoft.  If microsoft wanted to aquire the ip, EA would make the cost prohibitively high.  Microsoft seems to prefer creating its own stuff at this point rather than buying out properties anyway.  

I will be using this video next time someone says games have no reason to be exclusive
