Cool. Glad you like it.

EDIT: I'll expand. I'm glad to hear that you like the Kinect. I can promise you that when people say "no one wants kinect!" they are saying it in loose terms and don't actually mean to imply that there is literally no one who enjoys it.

The argument that there are people who like it does not translate into it being OK for Microsoft to shove it down everyone's throats regardless of how they feel about it. You want to play with your friends on Xbox Live? You want to play the new Halo? Well then, you're forced to have Kinect staring at you and listening to you 24/7, collecting your data*.

*Nothing is set in stone as of now (especially since Microsoft seems to be radically shifting their stance), so we'll see exactly what Kinect does when the Xbone launches.

I'm not talking about their policies. I'm only speaking about the product itself. So, we'll leave that on the shelf for another thread. I don't like thier policies either.

I'm very confused about how you said Microsoft shoved it down everyone's throats? In short, they are not forcing anyone... for anything. We concumers have a right and choice to buy Xbox. They, Microsoft, have a right and choice to literally make a my little pony, pony, as the new logo for Xbox. So, it really made me wonder about how you think when you said that. Literally, I made the "that guy is wierd face" when I read that.

I guess for me... this thread is somewhat of a rant and sticking up for Kinect thread. I don't expect or aim to convince people. I literally just want to be heard.

All gaming systems, consoles/PC, have thier perks... why fight over preferences? I like Coke and you like Pepsi, that's it, let's not fight over which toy we like best cause that's what they are. Is someone's preference in a toy important or is the relationship between you and your neighbor more important? Answer is obvious, but THE most important thing is your relationship with God almighty. God Bless you in Jesus's name.

I can communicate without talking... I can send a loved one money without actually sending money... and I can commit theft without the product disappearing, the point of theft is the point of theft not one of it's possible symptoms which is the product dissappearing. The thief wants to gain something without paying for it, that's the point of theft, the thief doesn't have to care or anybody else has to care if the product dissappears. The product dissappearing is just a possible symptom of theft. Gifts are sacrfices, in order to give a gift, it has to be a genuine sacrfice/gift, meaning a copy of the game isn't still in your PC. Piracy is theft and/or being a culprit of theft.

many peopele actually like camera based gaming and features but its not for me. does this new console only power on by voice command or does it have a power button i cant find any pictures that shows a power button

Microsoft can implement ridiculous ideas into their products, if they want. Does that mean we're not allowed to have opinions, state our feelings, and be upset that Microsoft is forcing things onto gamers who want to enjoy other aspects of the Xbone? I thought I said it pretty clearly: if you want to play Halo (or any of Microsoft's first-party games) or play on Live, you have to now agree to buy a Kinect that will watch and listen to you 24/7 (bar any changes made in the future).

So we're not allowed to be upset at this? We're supposed to "just let it happen"? :P

I didn't say one thing about complianing or voicing out an opinion. Your allowed to be upset and you went off on a tangeant to talk about opinions and freedom of speech I guess...................

Halo fanatic or not, you don't HAVE to agree or buy a Kinect. A Halo fanatic doesn't HAVE to play Halo. He or she is a person... and has a choice and free-will. Microsoft never grabs your hand or puts a gun to your face to do anything. Do you see it now?

Note: Is there another site you go to that doesn't have all the troll problems this one does? I'm just so bored with them. They are so tedious to skip over.

I usually go to the Verge Forums. You get much wider range of replies due to audience being much more varied. Their site covers everything, not just gaming. You will see a thread go from Polygon go from Xbox One features in to iOS vs Android in to Windows 8 start menu arguments...

Thanks for the tip!  Will check them out.

I used to really like VGChartz, but the trolls man, the trolls.

The exitement I get from seeing people banned from here for trolling has yet to die down in almost four years...Now don't get me wrong..I've been banned myself...Now on to the icing on the cake..The Stealth trolling that goes on here is priceless...

NiKKoM wins!

If they will allow you to use kinect to write out messages it will be amazing. I have a really good idea for a Kinect game but sadly, all the kinect games are just shovelware!

I love Kinect too!

I have had so much fun playing kinect party that i'm now a firm believer in Kinect. I'm starting to like getting up and standing instead of laying or sitting. Skyward Sword is so much more immersive when your body is active. Same with kinect.

Oh yeah, and we havent even seen what kinect 2 is capable of. I can't wait!

Kinect Party is so creative!  I am looking forward to seeing what the guys at Double Fine do with the next one.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!
