Cool. Glad you like it.

EDIT: I'll expand. I'm glad to hear that you like the Kinect. I can promise you that when people say "no one wants kinect!" they are saying it in loose terms and don't actually mean to imply that there is literally no one who enjoys it.

The argument that there are people who like it does not translate into it being OK for Microsoft to shove it down everyone's throats regardless of how they feel about it. You want to play with your friends on Xbox Live? You want to play the new Halo? Well then, you're forced to have Kinect staring at you and listening to you 24/7, collecting your data*.

*Nothing is set in stone as of now (especially since Microsoft seems to be radically shifting their stance), so we'll see exactly what Kinect does when the Xbone launches.

I'm not talking about their policies. I'm only speaking about the product itself. So, we'll leave that on the shelf for another thread. I don't like thier policies either.

I'm very confused about how you said Microsoft shoved it down everyone's throats? In short, they are not forcing anyone... for anything. We concumers have a right and choice to buy Xbox. They, Microsoft, have a right and choice to literally make a my little pony, pony, as the new logo for Xbox. So, it really made me wonder about how you think when you said that. Literally, I made the "that guy is wierd face" when I read that.

I guess for me... this thread is somewhat of a rant and sticking up for Kinect thread. I don't expect or aim to convince people. I literally just want to be heard.

All gaming systems, consoles/PC, have thier perks... why fight over preferences? I like Coke and you like Pepsi, that's it, let's not fight over which toy we like best cause that's what they are. Is someone's preference in a toy important or is the relationship between you and your neighbor more important? Answer is obvious, but THE most important thing is your relationship with God almighty. God Bless you in Jesus's name.

I can communicate without talking... I can send a loved one money without actually sending money... and I can commit theft without the product disappearing, the point of theft is the point of theft not one of it's possible symptoms which is the product dissappearing. The thief wants to gain something without paying for it, that's the point of theft, the thief doesn't have to care or anybody else has to care if the product dissappears. The product dissappearing is just a possible symptom of theft. Gifts are sacrfices, in order to give a gift, it has to be a genuine sacrfice/gift, meaning a copy of the game isn't still in your PC. Piracy is theft and/or being a culprit of theft.
