I thought the graphics and textures when the main char was walking in the streets really average.

Watch the plains, desert, and sci-fi/fantasy battle segments.

I agree. The whole modern-esque look doesn't push very many buttons.

Now, when the game leaves the city, that when things get really impressive. But no surprise... Xenoblade was the same way. Rather boring towns, really nice overworld.

Gorgeous game. I wouldn't say it's showing off as much raw power as the X1 or PS4, but the fantastic art design makes up for it.

As a Sony fan, I must say I really enjoyed the trailers for both X and Bayonetta 2 as I immediately felt like playing them. That's a real advantage for the Wii U. I'll keep an eye on those two.
