So with Smash almost upon us (and when I say us I mean the Japanese... so jelly @_@), what characters do you all want to main?

Everyone. I am going to main everyone. Random, the only way to play!

Well, good luck with that! You're going to need it.

I wonder if pro players actually are really good with every character.

It's probably much easier to defeat a certain character if you're really good with him!

If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)

"Users in Japan, you can now download the demo for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS! You can pick among 5 fighters with which to play. The stage is Battlefield, and the rules are fixed. There will be a few items and assist trophies available too. You can battle via local wireless, so have fun battling with your friends. For users outside of Japan, stay tuned for more news about the demo for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Screen shot is from Japanese version."

"The only mode available on the demo version is Smash, but I also left open a feature called Tips. Just remember to tap that button. You'll figure the rest out once you do."

Signature goes here!

I'm glad daddy Sakurai ain't excluding us from the demo even after the leaks.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

The leaks were not our fault... but I did enjoy the hell out of them!

Looking at streams of the demo, the game is definitely faster than Brawl. Also, watching people play Pikachu badly hurts me inside.

Yes! Demos aren't exclusive to Japan!

Also, does anyone think the Wii U button on 3DS will allow us to display our versus match against computers and "humans" onto the TV screen? There are YouTube videos showing in store Japanese demos having multiplayer matches on the TV screen. This means the game is capable of displaying itself onto other screens.

Everyone has been extremely positive so far with the game!

And at the head of that excitement is how balanced the characters feel this time around. Mario, Pikachu, and Link all seemed to be more viable to play as. Quicker, stronger, just great to use (and this is great, as Link was my main in 64!). Villager looks to be a great character as well (with absurd recover options) and Mega Man looks to be a unconventional character that focuses on spacing and air attacks. Will be interesting to see how folks will get a handle on him.

Ugh. So excited. @_@

COME TO ME SMASH. *sobs uncontrollably*

Jason Schreier is saying that Stephen Totilo was told by a tipster at the Gamestop expo that the Wii U release date will be announced at this Friday's Treehouse event.

Very plausible, although admittedly that's one heck of a chain...
