I was waiting for EVA3.33 releasing in USA. But it seems no to be possible.

well, it has been quit a long since I watch EVA3.33. The story changes a lot. I like the original TV version story best.

I watched it last week. It was good, but not as good as 1.11 and 2.22. It left me a little confused and I don't know what to expect from the final movie, how it will end.

Some fans will like it, others won't.

I wish I had a friend who watched anime to help me out with what's new and all. I didn't even know there was a new Evangelion (is that what this is?)

It's offically titled "Rebuild of Evangelion", you could say that it's a retelling of the series (for now) without the time or budget limitations Gainax had when creating the TV show. It's fixed up a lot of stuff.

It's good. Kinda confusing but the movie does the best to explain the plot. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, it has the classic "to be continue" ending. Does anyone know when the final one comes out?

To add to this I have been watching Eva since 1996. I love everything about the Eva universe, The rebuild movies for me are just as awesome as the TV series and Death and Rebirth and End of Evangelion.

Eva 1.11, 2.22 and 3.33 and final 4.44 out late 2014 are part of Anno-san's expanded take on the Eva Universe. there are elements in both that I do like more then the other, but the best thing is that they expose a new generation of anime fans to the Eva universe that didn't grow up with it.

There's something very wrong with your fandom of Eva if Death and Rebirth was enjoyable because it had 10 minutes of extra footage that wasn't covered in the series. Otherwise it's a rather confusing mess of a recap that may as well not have existed and the whole thing would have been just as well for it.

I was meaning Evagelion as a whole, not just one part of it. The sad fact is that some Anime fans focus on just one aspect of of The Eva universe manly the combate part Eva is about the characters with mecha action as a compliment to that.  

I know that the 26 part TV series was a it of a mess at the end due to GAINAX running out of money for the show due to Anno-san getting to amishuse with the show. he did try to correct this with the original films. like it or not Death and Reirth was there to aid the naritive but I wil agree that that part was a bit more complicated then it needed to be, but the End of Evangelion film was the true ending that fans wanted and Anno-san himself wonted to do for the most part with the TV sires at the end but couldn't due to money at that time. 

However the rebuild of Evangelion was conceived to do what as Anno san said to recreate Eva "as he wanted it to be" in the beginning and that he was no longer constrained by technological and budget limitations. No longer constrained by technological limitation of 12 years before the rebiuld project began.
