Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft – Xbox One Will Surprise The World At E3

Microsoft seem to have gone in an arrogant direction. They claim that they will “kill Sony” at E3 this year.

This shouldn’t be a surprise, really, because the company has spent $1 billion on Xbox One games. Will Sony match that amount of spending by Microsoft? We will see at E3, however, Microsoft is looking extremely confident based on the translated comments of Craig Davidson, who is the Director of Global Marketing at the company.

“Xbox One will surprise the world during E3,” he said, and added, “Let’s kill Sony at E3″.

This seems to be something that Ken Kutaragi would have said and such arrogance does not bode well for the company. However, they seem to be motivated and that’s a good thing.

Earlier Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg had said that they are definitely listening to fan feedback and said that E3 is all about games and they have a lot to share.

No. Bring on E3. It will be interesting.

I hope they show us the good stuff, and don't mention TV - we've had enough of that. Show us the games!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Well they've already said countless times now that E3 will be all about games, so that's really a given at this point

The only question is, how good is their good stuff?

They'll say, Just kidding. No DRM.

Yeah, how good are the games and how much will they show if them? Showing off 15 exclusive titles in the same maner as on the Xbox reveal won't cut it. We need actual game play footage!

Has it ever been good for a game company to go the arrogant route?

Will be a crease if at E3 there games suck after all this hype..

Getting excited :D
