Sony has already stated that they will show the PS4 console at E3. They are not going to delay the reveal further.

Ya....Sony admitted that it wasn't ready in February. It is just that simple.

They could not have showed anything? Yeah right. I am sure it is sitting on Kaz's desk right now. Only about 5 months until they need to start shipping it. I would imagine it is basically finished. They were waiting for the Xbox One reveal.

They showed a controller. Jack Tretton said it himself that the design wasn't final. Straight from Sonys mouth.

Sony doesn't have time to change it's look or anything else now if they want to set up the manufacturing process in time to produce units to sell in November. They waited cause it wasn't ready.

maybe they have not shown the ps4 because the console is as ugly as the xbox1/3 and the japanese are too gentle to shock people first.

if this is the case it will just be the next betamax vs vhs war all over again and playing games from videotapes must be an interessting experience.

IYO, IMO the XB0 is the best looking console to date. Finally a game system that dosn't scream kids toy. Hope Sony goes the same direction, and PS4 looks like a high end A/V product.

As far as changes being to late, this might not be totally impossible. Sony made a change to PS3 hardware last minute adding HDMI to the 20GB unit.
