Forums - Microsoft - Prediction: All EA next gen console (Xbox/PS4/WiiU) games timed exclusive to next Xbox in 2013. Xbox timed exclusive DLC for all EA franchises in 2014 and onwards.

I guess we'll find out in 7-8 hours if I'm right or not but I believe the megaton announcement for the Xbox reveal will be a timed exclusive launch of all next gen EA games (they will still be released on PS4 just delayed a month).  Then in 2014 onwards all EA next gen console games that have DLC will have a 1 month exclusive launch window on the next Xbox.  Also EA's Titan will be Xbox only and next generations "Gears of War" in terms of third party exclusives (it won't appear on any other next gen console).

In return EA gets a part of all Xbox Live subscription fees along with Microsoft and EA having a joint advertising agreement that covers all EA published next gen console games that appear on the next Xbox.

So what do you think?

If EA dips their hand in Xbox Live subscription fees like Activision, I think they Xbox gamers will still take it. They wont complain about a $70 price hike, but 100? Thats a different story.

I have to disagree.. The XBL subscription model is worth more than all of those. Highly unlikely specially with the bad image EA has to the consumer.

Yay!!!

Nah..

MS just made sure that EA saved their reveals for the Xbox unveiling

They will pretty much be confirmed for PS4 after the 720 unveil

You should throw out the Wii U from the thread title since EA has no games for Wii U anymore, I would even say this may be borderline flame bait :P

Jokes aside, I think something is in the air. Since EA was absent from PS Meting on 20 feb and will be present today with a lot of new footage of next gen games EA-MS partnership definately holds water. What will it be? I also think some kind of timed exclusivity/DLC exclusivity. Anything more could turn out to be a pretty big deal.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

..100$??

.. Microsoft is not that stupid. 60 or 65 might be the fiscal point for a yearly online pass. But 100? No way.

Yay!!!

Nah, Im thinking $70. $100 is too much but I wouldn't put it past MS gen after next if their entertainment/kinect plans succeed.

If ea wants to kill themselves then yes

I don't think they will increase the price of Xbox Live Gold but will instead absorb most of the cost with the additional subscriptions this kind of deal will likely create.

That sounds rational, but I'm talking about Microsoft, Activision and EA.
