Tsutaya's weekly game sales ranking for May 13 - 19.

Summon Night 5 debut as expected. Muv-Luv does strangely better than expected at Tsutaya, anime boost? Other than that not much movement.
And there's 3 games in #20 spot. What.

Man NSMB2 doesn't have the legs it should be having right now.
Animal Crossing is going to take forever to drop out of those charts.
If there's anything more to be learned from these charts is that Vita needs more Visual novels. Those seem to sell well.
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

and then vgchartz and famitsu number usually have nsmb2 higher...
and it already outsold mk7 and mario 3d already... so it is pretty much exhausted in japan right now.....
but look at luigi!!!! damn.... i didnt expect luigi to be this good in japan :) me happy

Odd 3 way tie for 20.
No huge surprises here. Although I don't really know what Muv-Luv is so I don't know if that is a good or bad placing for it. Judging by 5pb's usual sales I'll say that it's good.
At least a few Vita games clinging on and Blops resurfacing is interesting. Though not as interesting as that 3-way-tie.

Wow. Animal Crossing is such a hit in Japan. It still remains among the 5 best-sellers, even after several and several weeks
I really wants to know how much downloads it sold.
(although we all know this is a branch shop table, not the entire market)

According to Famitsu, it's damn near close to 4 million there now.
