Dead Space 3 took away the ability to save anywhere and made checkpoints. It totally screws up the game. The guns have too much ammo and health is easily come by which makes it easy. The pace of the game is slower in term of constant danger. It basically is set up to be easier which sucks.



Being able to regain energy by grinding on rails in infamous 2.

in infamous one you could have some really great drive by shooting while grinding because of the huge energy regain. it also smooth transitions between areas letting you regain energy by just grinding to where you were going instead of having to stop to recharge

it even healed you



Fricking Shove, as well as auto-canto for mounted units in Fire Emblem 9 and 10

Both moves make so much sense that, to the person who played Path of Radiance first, its inclusion in no other FE games feels beyond idiotic.

Yeah Shove alone makes the battle system of FE9 and 10 a hell of a lot more interesting than Awakening's.

Though I still like the characters of Awakening more, Pair-up is nowhere up to par as it could be. All you get is an overpowered unit that is based on a lot of percentages.

Shoving priests out of the way was the best thing ever.

Oh the berries. I used to spend half an hour every morning and evening going all over Sinnoh watering, replanting and grabbing fully grown berries. That Poketch app was really handy :D



resistance 3: re2 only saving grace besides that finally lvl was its mp. The 64 pvp and 8 player co-op was so must fun and the reason why that game keep on selling.

Wave dashing and L-cancelling would've separated the boys from the men if they kept it in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Instead they simplified everything and made competitive matches more of a snorefest. They replaced those mechanics with... tripping...
