The whole reason Actraiser was fun was the city building... yet they got rid of it in Actraiser 2.

Quite disagree with that. It's like snaking in Mario Kart, it just forced you to play the game a certain way if you wanted to be a top level player.

Glyph puzzles and platforming puzzles in Assasin's creed.



Being able to throw shells and items upwards in Super Mario games. Drives me nuts that they took it away after Super Mario World.
