I just wonder if the Switch Version will be able to beat the 3DS version.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Is that good for Pokemon? I think this is probably the highest budget pokemon game to date, if I'm going off the graphics. Could be wrong though.

Highest budget? No way, the file size is not much bigger than the 3DS games and it has a lot less content needed to be developed for it. E.g. 153 mons instead of 800+, only a fraction of the moves, abilities, items and pokedex entries implemented. Not to mention since its remake most of the dialogue and game design was already made and it's was made in the Sun/Moon engine as well instead of it's own.

I'd say the budget could of been lower than that of Sun and Moon/X and Y despite being $60.

Generation 8 is were all the money is currently being pumped into.

Ultimate might catch up to 3DS version if it keep the pace.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Another good day God water. Closing in on 100p

It's weird that Smash with 12 points feels like an average day.

GE3 and JE cannot be stopped!

What Smash Ultimate is doing is pretty incredible. While 3DS is ahead at this point in time, it had the advantage of having a bigger install base, released during a time the 3DS was still selling really well, and the hype of Smash 4, in which for all intents and purposes, was a more original title than Ultimate, even though they are both new games nonetheless. Not saying Ultimate is a port, mind you, because of all the latest features (i.e., Final Smash Meter, Stage Morph, Squad Strike, Smashdown, etc.), the new characters, the new stages, World of Light, Spirit Mode, and the new music. Anyway, the 3DS had a few advantages, even if the Wii U version was looming. Ultimate is releasing a few months before the Switch's 2nd birthday, but with the console riding with popularity that the Wii U could never match. Plus, Ultimate will get the benefit of a bigger userbase than Wii U that will continue to grow throughout next couple of years at least (who knows how much the PS5 and Project Xbox Scarlet will affect the Switch). It will be an interesting race to say the least.
