I agree.

In my opinion Nintendo didn't support the Switch enough in 2018 with new great games. The evergreens for the Switch are all from 2017 (Splatoon 2, MK8, BotW, SMO.) A "normal" Animal Crossing in spring would have already made in Japan a huge difference.  

But it is already now obvious that 2019 will be the better year.

Me too, in regards to BO4. But I don't know about the PS4 numbers... I think Spider-Man didn't push the numbers by that much, right? Could be wrong.

Bo4 had an awesome opening. Spiderman legs continue. Ps4 numbers were 25k which is just OK. I was hoping for 30k.

But at end Ultimate is still ahead of Wii U + 3DS combined? 362 > 323

We will see, this game will be huge any case with great 1st week in any case. Only plus for 3DS will be bigger install base in moment of launch of this games, but I can bet that Ultimate will have much higher attach rate than 3DS.

Just over a month ago ultimate was almost 200 points ahead, now it's only 39 points ahead, like the guy you quoted said, it's about pace.
