Yea but knowing Capcom they probably expect the game to sell like 8 millions lmao. The game had a much bigger budget than 3DS games so selling less units than these games would be a major disappointment I think. Let see how much it will sell in the rest of the world.

I think that we are here was focusing on Japan market.  and also I think capcom won't expect a home console MH title doing better than on portable in Japan. in worldwide, this is a multiple platforms title which will be also released on Xbox and PC.

Look like MHW monster mode has activated. Its more than 3 times FFXV and almost twice of DQXI comg points. Whether it replicate it in actual sales also. even 2x of FFXV or 1.5x of DQXI FW sales numbers will be quite impressive.

They were eventually going to have to make new assets. They couldn't rely on their ps2/psp/3ds assets forever. Upgrading them is a once off cost and they'll probably reuse them for the next 10 years. Saying it will be a major disappointment is a major exaggeration I feel especially when they'll reuse them in a switch game in future.

It should be around 1.5mil with digital. MHW will surpass it and ps4 should have minimum 3 mil sellers (unless ff7r pulls through).

 Ive been keeping track for months. At the most (ceiling) its at 1.41mil retail, so realistically its between 1.35mil-1.38mil retail. Add that 150k+ digital (could be up to 180k) and its around 1.50mil-1.55mil 

 

Lifetime maybe 1.6mil. MHW imo will be over

No, Sony's mobile cash cow afaik is Fate/Grand Order, Gran Blue is owned by Cygames and the mobile game was dled 10M times in Jpn. They seem to have invested a high budget to develop (with Platinum Games) the PS4 version - it does look spectacular - and they put out a Gran Blue anime last year.
