Never thought I'd see a game outside of Pokémon and Splatoon reach these kind of numbers in Japan on a console not portable.

Monster Hunter World has surprised me quite a lot.

1500 points seems possibly, imagine of the MHW first week sales in Japan:
ratios:500 sales:0.75m ratios:600 sales: 0.90m ratios:800 sales:1.2m
hopefully it will do 1 million first week and 2 millions lifetime in Japan alone.

All seem likely: 1500 points, 1 mil first week, and (at least close to) 2 million lifetime. It will be interesting to see whether it or Dragon Quest XI end up with the best PS4 Japanese sales. I suspect they'll have very close sales at the end of it all.

Honestly never thought I'd see this day. Always knew monster Hunter had potential on a ps home console again but didn't think it would happen.

46 points and over 1200 now. What a performance. Looking forward to seeing mediacreate on Wednesday to see dissidia and the ps4 hardware numbers. Hopefully they don't let down.

How much has DQXI sold on PS4?

I also think 2M LTD for MHW in Japan sounds like the ceiling.  It'll probably land between 1.5-2M though.  Hopefully on the upper end of that.
