IM3 is a good movie, but the Avengers is better. If IM3 was set before the avengers it would have made sense, but since it is after, the movie's plot is a bit nonsensical.
Is this the last Iron Man for RDJ? What about Avengers sequels? | |||

Avengers is overrated. It's a good film, but overrated.
Pretty sure RDJ said that he would do Iron Man for as long as he enjoys playing the character.
Which pretty sure he does. So as long as they continue to keep the stories good and production value good, I dont' see him going anywhere.
As for this movie outselling Avengers. i doubt it, btu who cares, it will sell probably 1 bn or around that. I'm just loving the whole comic movies these days. they are so frequent and popular and "Good"
Remember back when we got maybe a comic book movie like once very couple years at best. Now we get like 3 a year. It's awesome.
edit: and anyone who hasn't seen Sherlock (bbc) shoudl go and watch it. It's on netflix. Amazing show. Best sherlock adaptation i've seen. better than the movies and better thant he elementary show. oh and bilbo baggins is watson

A lot of people will know the actor very very soon |
Plus he's playing Smaug in the Hobbit.
You guys are talking about cumberbatch right lol?

oh yes! After playing a CGI dragon we will all certainly know him! Just like the general public knows who Serkis is.

Trust me, the general public know who Serkis is. He is well known for the LOTR plus his Rise of the Planet of the Apes role as Caesar. Just because we won't see cumberbatch's face doesn't mean he won't be recognized when he's credited for the role of Smaug or doing interviews on late night shows etc.

Also, I just want to add that I found out about Cumberbatch because I was told he was playing Smaug. Then later on I found out he's in Star Trek and also did that Sherlock Homes show.

He should alreayd be known for his outstanding job of Sherlock in the bbc show. Sadly since its not on "american" tv people ignore it.
Can't wait till season 3 of that series.
Iron Man 3 will probably be the highest grossing film for this year. Disney must be very happy.

I know others have problems with RDJ as Sherlock, plus he is not British. But he has been very successful with the character. No one in America knows the British TV show guys who plays Sherlock, or the American tv show guys who plays sherlock along side Lucy Lui. It will be hard to beat RDJ for a while. Did you see the first one before the second one?
I also saw that. But it did not say he would be back, just that Iron Man would be back. But besides his age, what else is he doing? So many struggles in his career, he should just keep it up as long as they let him. Unlike Batman, he has a suit to let his body age gracefully. |
I don't specifically have a problem with RDJ, I am just not too happy about there being two Sherlocks, especially when Cumberbatch is so very very good. I saw Sherlock, then I watched the first film and thought it was alright, but the DVD we were watching (or player) was dodgy, so I didn't really enjoy the experience. I started watching the 2nd one, but changed my mind about it because it just didn't feel right.
I don't think they would change him. I know they changed Ed Norton, but Iron Man was what made this whole franchise take off, I feel very confident they won't replace RDJ

Some of the better shows are on BBC.
Like Merlon, Sherlock, Robin Hood, and others.
Whenever we get adaptations of those types ofthings, they get some weird ass american twinge to it. Like making Watson a girl for example. They change stuff up to try and reach some demographic
