Although I like Fusion better, but would Infinite sound better as marketing thing? You know with Windows 8 and stuff.

well, i meant when we pronounce fusion in german and not in english which many will do since it's the same word.

yeah both names make sense, Fusion could be meant for fusing Media/videogames/etc. and infinite could be for Windows 8 and beyond

That would be really funny! To be fair though, if one thinks about MS' plans and ambition with their home console projects, "Fusion" is among the most likely names they could pick today. I'm not so sure that this would be as evident over five years ago though.

If it turns out to be called "Fusion", that must be the most random prediction I made in my entire life that came true...

Fusion will just be a name for a service. Didn't people think the Surface was gong to be called SmartGlass? t will just what the APP or whatever will be called on the WP8 and neXbox.

Fusion is an okay name but sounds a little bit too cheezy.

Infinite also sounds cheezy and pretentious.

I like Xbox 8 the most.
