This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I'm super excited that one day I'll be able to play games with this setup. But I'm kind of sad that it will be a long time before I get to play a Halo game on it. Maybe someone will patch the PC versions of Halo CE and Halo 2, but I drool for the possibilities of Halo 4, 5, 6 plus this setup.

Looks interesting, more fun then jogging outside. However how can it work with gta, assasins creed, infamous, uncharted, anything that does more then simple running. It could breed some new interest in FPS but for now I'm pretty burned out on them already.

I'm looking forward to an HD Occulus rift for racing. Actually sitting in the car and looking around from the driver's seat is what I would like.

I really dont find it appealing at all. At least the running part. If I am playing is because I want to RELAX, not to get tired. If I want to exercise I go to the gym and/or run at the beach 8km, just like I just did some minutes ago.   Because of this, suddenly all RPGs instead of being based on your character statistics and level, it will depend on your physical condition instead LMAO!   I want to see people playing COD, that never go outside, and play with someone that does exercise regularly LMAO.  They will get their a$$ kicked!

The oculus rift looks nice, because it is like if you were playing in a gigantic TV, and if you are playing a game in 3rd person camera, is like you are being a powerful being guiding the hero XD. the only problem I have with it is that if a friend wants to see what you are playing how he can do that?? Or there can still be signal for the TV??

I don't see this ending gaming as you enjoy it today. I want this setup in my house as soon a possible. I just came back from a run too, but that doesn't mean I don't want a 100% imersive experience from time to time. I'm sure once the initial novelty wears off I'd play most games with a controller while sipping a soda in my easy chair. But I can see myself playing with setup when I feel like experiences a true virtual reality. Visiting other places and worlds as well as playing epic adventures is too appealing not to try.

It's not for 3rd person games. It's not even for standard FPS games. It's just that thats all they have to demo right now. It's going to be best for games designed to be portals into new experiences. That's what I'm excited about.

This right here essentially, I feel like King is missing the point of this altogether. Just think of games like a modern day Myst on this where you just explore and interact with the world around you. Also in terms of gaming where you can use this I think in current games is generally FPS/RPG's.
