It's been confirmed that VC is not coming tomorrow. If the update is tomorrow, then it will come Wednesday. I thinking this will be the case. I'm hoping the lineup reveal tomorrow will reveal a couple new games for VC

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Well I seen that the eShop was under maintainence today, but I was a little disappointed that the patch hasn't come out yet. But I guess they will do it a little latter today.

they were about to expire xD, so Super Metroid is the only great choice. Never played it before.

BTW  has the update been publicly available? if not then it will be the day after it

Good, so no Super Metroid. It would have been weird to release it at full price and have the promotion a few weeks later.

I was irritated at the very beginning. But then I actually thought about it.

This isn't just a port over of the game from Wii VC.

These have significant updates that more than justify the $1, $1.50, or $2 (likely for N64) prices for those who own them on Wii already.

I have 24 VC titles from Wii moved over to my WiiU. I'll pay less than $30 to upgrade them all to include off-tv play and real save states.

Would I have liked it better to be free? of course. But, that isn't much to ask for a few upgrades in the process. Worst case scenario I can always leave it in Wii mode and still play as is. This way I get easier access to it, better controls, and the capability to hopefully move them along to the next Nintendo console. Especially as they are now tied to my NNID.
