I'm absolutely blown away with the amount of software Nintendo has managed to get on the 3DS this year. Here's the games that have / will release in 2013

Fire Emblem Awakening

Luigis Mansion

Animal Crossing New Leaf

Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past 2

Pokemon X/Y

Mario and Luigi Dreamland

Monster Hunter 4

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3DS

Bravely Default

Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate

Mario Golf

Shin Megami Tensei Soul Hackers and Shin Megami Tensei IV

Sales have been decent in the West but havent been truly great yet. Will the 2013 finally make a huge impact and get 3DS sales in line with what Nintendo wants / needs?

I think after Animal Crossing they'll be a notable increase. After Pokemon a massive one, and Zelda will just maintain it. Western sales could have a baseline as high as double what they are now, this time next year.

Though it's true. I don't think there's any denying now that the 3DS will win this generation, both in terms of sales and in Software, though the Vita should not be overlooked. Great Direct today.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Awakening, golf, and that last one really wont do much in the west. Even withought them that's incredible.

The quality experiences of Kid Icarus Uprising and Fire Emblem Awakening totally blew me away. Both have moved into my top ten games. The 3ds is a beast and it continues to deliver.

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Oh yes you better believe it, with MH4 and Pokemon Y and X it will be huge in Japan.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

Add Bravely Default please it will come out at least in the EU. I am going to buy it!

I will also buy Code of Princess  and Etrian Odyssey 4

i think this year it will really start to pick up in the West with Animal Crossing/Pokemon pushing alot of hardware and DS wont affect its Black Friday sales as much as last year. 2014 will continue the momentum by having a price cut and redesign in the Spring then games like Kirby, Metroid, Advance Wars, Smash Bros, Golden Sun, Ice Climbers, Kid Icarus sequel, 3D Land 2 could possibly release

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Pokemon is the clear winner out of that list

I agree lots of excellent games coming out this year. Just finished luigis mansion 2 and was very impressed with the whole game. Getting paper mario and lego city undercover for my birthday and will probably get fire emblem as well. Personally and i know i will be in the minority but i am really looking forward to mario golf coming out. Thats a definite day on buy for me.
