Is this exclusive to the Wii U version, or will they be featured in all versions?

Either way, I'll be picking this game up on my 360. No point in spending $300 on a console that plays the exact same games that a soon-to-be 8 years old console can.

Because exclusives don't exist...

Apparently not for the Wii U, since many of its 3rd party "exclusives" have found their way onto the current-gen HD twins (Rayman Legends, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge).

2D Mario is only going to get you so far.. and judging by sales, that's not very far these days.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Somehow I doubt Pikmin 3, Zelda, Smash Bros, 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Xenoblade sequel, Yarn Yoshi, etc will go to PS3/360.

And 2D Mario appeals to an audience currently outside the Wii U's current price range.

Well at least the delay will result in a better game for my money.

Still its going to be much harder purchase come September when who know what else will be available for my money. Whereas in Feb it was a done deal, day one.

I'm curious as to how this will pan out. Given the Wii U game drought, Rayman would have gotten huge sales on Wii U prior to the delay. By this September there will be a lot more choices for Wii U owners and the PS3/360 market was already crowded.

If a person really wanted the game then, why would the all of a sudden not want it no more? Is there anything coming out around that time cause as far as I know its just Zelda remake and maybe Yoshi?

Most gamers don't have infinite income. The release schedule gets heavy during that time of year. Nintendo tends to hold things closer to the vest under Iwata. Under Yamauchi they announced games years before release.  There present modus operandi is different. E3 will yield titles that will be coming ou later this year. Ubisoft is risking another Beyond Good & Evil situation. A really good game that got buried under the glut of major releases.

i understand that, but im going off the info we have NOW. And right now, their is nothing coming out on Sept1 that I know of that would stop a person from getting this game. Im speaking more for the Wii U version their is always something coming for PS360.

But thats the whole point of it though, this was supposed to be the game that moved consoles. Its not really doing that, maybe Mario isnt the system seller we thought it was or used to be? I dont think its the price either at least thats just not the only factor. Im pretty sure that Mario World and 64 moved more consoles on their respective system than this, i could be wrong.

This is good news...I think. I'm a little worried the designers at Ubisoft added more levels simply because they had the extra time to do so, not because it would enhance the experience. But maybe I'm being too skeptical. Rayman is an excellent series and I trust Ancel to make an outstanding game.

In any event, if Rayman is better in September than it would have been in February, then all this drama was worth it.

Mario World wasn't called upon to sell a $350 console though.

Can understand that thinking.  I sure wouldn't buy a Wii U for this game solely.  But there are other reasons to buy a Wii U already and soon to be amazing 1st party Nintendo games.

So it might be worth getting a Wii U when this game comes out cause i can see the Wii U version controlling the best.  From what vid's I've seen and the demo I tried at Best Buy.  i just don't see how the game could be as enjoyable without the gamepad.

So if your going to get a Wii u sometime (Zelda, Pikman, Bayonetta 2, ect) then why not pick one up to enjoy Rayman how it was meant to be enjoyed.

Or just wait to buy Rayman Legends until you do get a Wii U in the future.  There are plenty of good games when rayman comes out that you could bypass it for now and get it later.

OF course I guess wait for reviewers or user reviews to tell you if the Wii U is the best controll one or not.
