Apparently not for the Wii U, since many of its 3rd party "exclusives" have found their way onto the current-gen HD twins (Rayman Legends, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge).

2D Mario is only going to get you so far.. and judging by sales, that's not very far these days.

Somehow I doubt Pikmin 3, Zelda, Smash Bros, 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Xenoblade sequel, Yarn Yoshi, etc will go to PS3/360.

And 2D Mario appeals to an audience currently outside the Wii U's current price range.

But thats the whole point of it though, this was supposed to be the game that moved consoles. Its not really doing that, maybe Mario isnt the system seller we thought it was or used to be? I dont think its the price either at least thats just not the only factor. Im pretty sure that Mario World and 64 moved more consoles on their respective system than this, i could be wrong.
