I really hope it does better than Halo 2.

You need to relax a bit and explain youself instead of being condescending. GT5's numbers are likely pretty close to being accurate on this website. it may be around 20k or so off but not by much. The biggest innaccuracy with this site is it is now facing digital sells.

Take off your tin hat and stop using that conspiracy theory as a crutch. The people who do sales numbers are aware of the complaints on GT5. Nothing has since changed. Ergo.....tin hats......take it off.

600k in 3 months is amazing! With the announcement of a permanent price drop to 39.99, the momentum should be very nice.
Update: Halo 4 passes both Myst and Final Fantasy X this week. It is 15th place this week and has sold 92,000 in April so far. I'll post last weeks list and this weeks list here. I'll post last weeks list and this weeks list below.

Should pass Final Fantasy X+ Final Fantasy X International Edition soon. 3 months or 12 weeks and it should be right behind Halo 2. Very impressive.

GT5 shipped over 9 million six months ago... in September 2012. |
It shipped 9 million before Halo 4 was even out. Is there something more recent? It has a fair chance to catch it if not. Halo 4's prices are still high and has room to move. It only released a few months ago.

No update yet... two quarter of sales with a holiday... there are a big change to GT5 already have shipment data over 10 million.
About Halo 4 it received a price cut this month... so the sales boosted but Reach in the past bosted too but seems like GT5 will outsell it this year... well Halo 4 is selling better than Reach.
In the end I don't know... I guess GT5 is stay ahead just becase the Halo 4 sales will drop soon to the same level than GT5 (~15k per week)... so the gap will just change in Holidays if any of them have bundles.

Halo 4 is on of three exclusive games that is a prime canditate for this years 360 holiday bundles the other two games would be Forza Horizon and Gears of War Judgement. If they only go with one exclusive and one third party game like they did in the 2012 360 holiday bundle then Halo 4 would make the most sense since it has a lot of DLC so despite giving it away for free it would recoup a lot ofs its money on bought DLC. If it makes it into the holiday bundle their is no way of telling how much it will sell by the end of the year. Even if its not bundled it shoud get a decent boost for the holidays since a 360 price cut will most likely happen before then.

That the point that makes me not know witch game will sell more... I stay with GT5 because the generation is ending.
GT5 is not a game that will drop below 15k per week this year so easly (it can have some 10k weeks but in average the 15k per week is a bood bet)... so after that the GT5 always have holiday boost (it is like Halo... new gamer buyers buy this games together).
The last point is that Sony didn't make any Holiday bundle for GT5 yet... seems weird but I think they are looking for profit even with the game at low price ($20)... so I expect a Holiday bundle this year to boost the GT5 sales.
Using the VGC data (~8.9 million) I'm sure the game will reach 10 million before the end of the year (VGC data... not shipped).
Can Halo 4 make more 2 million until the end of the year? It can but I think it will miss by 300-500k.
