I remember being hype on how the ps3 could play 8 player games. lol good old days.

lol didnt the ps2 play 8 player games?

No, it had 2 controller ports. You had to buy an adaptor to play 4 player.

but if you buy 2 adaptors then BAMN, 8 players baby! i remember me and my friends did that with PES, i think

with 2 adpapter's you would have been only able to play with 6 people / 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 /

didnt the adapter have 4 ports?

Would it have been more or less racists to not let them be those colors?

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

No, but if you want to hide your identity it would of been better to chose other colours, but hey its just me

Yeah, lol, but it was actually seven and they just mentioned it because that's the standard number of different devices that can be connected to a single bluetooth input... or something like that. It's kind of mind-boggling some devs actually released games for seven players on the same TV screen.

... How many games have more than 4 player support anyway? And what do you mean analog face buttons? L3 and R3? So I can't click them down anymore? Well that sucks, I liked clicking them down anyway, since I can think of quite a few games that used them, and I liked clicking them on the loading screens, lol... I wonder if the "720" will still have clicky sticks o.O

mostly sports games like the basket ball and the WWE titles. The tend to allow 6. Bomberman Ultra is th only game I know of that allowed for 7.

4 ≈ One

Ah right, well that kind of sucks, I mean sure, a lot of games didn't use it, but Gran Turismo 5 sure did, and I preferred using X to R2 to accelerate anyway, same with braking too... and didn't the MGS games use it too? Not sure about 4 actually, but on 2 atleast (Latest one I played, got the HD collection lol, already own it for PS2 anyways, I own all the MGS games, not sure why I even bought the collection... oh well, fun games!), you pressed down square very lightly to aim, and then pushed it all the way down to shoot...

Does this mean the buttons will be like on the 360 now? Because I hate how they're... clicky, y'know, no middle ground? Just on or off? Then again... maybe that's because I don't like the shape of the 360 buttons... my fingers actually slip off them sometimes.

Yeah those are the two that use it. At least they're improving the triggers, which is better accuracy for racing.
It was great for aiming and shooting on the same button, just like a camera. Wasn't it the same for choke hold, and putting the guy out completely? It was much better then keeping the button pressed to aim and fire on release, for example wasting an arrow when you don't want to take the shot. But since 360 already ditched the analog buttons (xbox 1 had them) no games used them.
I guess it saves a couple of cents to go towards the track pad.
