Elysium looks very interesting.
Star trek, oh well I saw all the other ones, why not.
The lone ranger, maybe, Johny Depp :/
After earth sounds interesting too, but Will Smith ugh.

Will Smith, I like Men in Black & Wild Wild West & Hitch.

Anyways, can you tell me about Elysium, because I know nothing about it.

I only know what info there is on IMDB.
Plot synopsis sounds interesting and it's made by Neill Blomkamp.

In the year 2159 two classes of people exist: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Rhodes, a government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn't stop the people of Earth from trying to get in, by any means they can. When unlucky Max is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that if successful will not only save his life, but could bring equality to these polarized worlds.

Oblivion sounds interesting as well. I like Tron Legacy, I'm curious how this movie turns out.

One of the few remaining drone repairmen assigned to Earth, its surface devastated after decades of war with the alien Scavs, discovers a crashed spacecraft with contents that bring into question everything he believed about the war, and may even put the fate of mankind in his hands.

Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Tom Cruise, Morgan Freemand are all great actors, all the pieces are in place for some great movies.

I'm not so sure about The longe ranger, trailer looks like captain Jack Sparrow visits the wild west.
And I can't stand Will Smith anymore after ID4, I Robot and I am Legend. Men In black was fun but Wild wild west and Hitch were very average too.

When it comes to the movie I'm most hyped for this year, nothing tops Man of Steel. But since you asked for a non-comic book movie... Star Trek: Into Darkness it is then. I really liked the first one Abrams did.

Planes looks horrible. I never want to see any of the Cars movies either. And for the most part I don't like spin offs.

I know about Oblivion, I've seen the Trailer in Theaters several times. I'm just worry that the movie might just be like the Matrix in quality, I didn't like the Matrix nor it's sequels. I hope the movie was manage well, but it looks like it wasn't. I guess we have to wait til it comes out.

I just get a strong feeling that it was mismanage despite the cool trailer I like.

And Hitch was an average movie. But Wild Wild West by today's standard is sadly less average and a little above average, but it was average back in the day, but now it's above average.

The Lone Ranger look like it was a Sci-Fi wild west movie from what I got from the narrator in the trailer.

I think the Lone Ranger has a better chance of being a good movie then Oblivion. Oblivion looks like the script was only written in 2 years, while the Lone Ranger script is clearly somewhere from 3 to 10 years writing.

I know the Simpsons Movie script was in the back with little stuff added once in while for like probably 10 years or so, before the 2 years of full writing assignment.

I think we can mark May 3rd 2013 as the death of the 2D industry.

The 2D Apocalypse is here......in 1 month from now.

Good-bye 2D and HELLO! 3D!

The present is here, in 1 month.

Why do you say that?  NVM, I get it...however a better date would have been March (third month) 3rd 2013.

With that said, if all movies in movie theaters went to 3D, I would completely stop going. My brain does not like 3D in the slightest.

LOL, it only takes 2 weeks to get use to the 3D effect with the worst brain.

So if you have any problems with 3D, then buy a Nintendo 3DS or 3DS XL and you can watch the 3D for as long as you can handle it, and then LOWER the VOLUME of 3D for it to become comfortable again, and then eventually turn the 3D OFF for a 5 minute to 60 minute break.

After a maximum of 1 to 2 weeks, you will be able to play with the 3D ON 24/7.

And thats how you whip your brain back into shape, seriously.

Plus the 3D effect makes Graphics look much more crisper looking then PC graphics LITERALLY. So if you want to see the most crisp looking graphics in your life' then get a 3DS and turn the 3D ON (you can adjust the Volume of 3D).

I can suggest games from your currently playing list that you will like:

Kid Icarus: Uprising

Resident Evil: Revelations

If you like RPG's:

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy

If you like racing:

Mario Kart 7

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

But you can just check the list for anything you know you will like:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_3DS_games

Sorry that you actually have problems with 3D, but you can fix your problem in a maximum of 1 to 2 weeks. And 3D makes Movies & video game graphics look way more crisper looking.

Oh I do like the thread update! Those are some glorious photos (however it would be nice if they were all roughly the same size).

It took me several hours to go thru images of each movie to pick 1 per movie.

Plus I could stretch the smaller ones out but some of them would look worse.

So we are just stuck with the sizes. But we get a clear image of each of them in return.

I rather watch movies made for 2D as well. Hopefully this fad won't last too much longer.
I only watch them in 2D anyway, but messing around with aspect ratios and annoying effects meant for 3D break the immersion. I'm kinda worried about the next star trek. How is 2.35:1 and 1.44:1 both going to look good in the same scenes.

It's kinda sad that bbc earth now has to put "No 3D is needed to enjoy this visual spectacle" on their new releases. I get more of a 3D you're there effect from their documentaries then from watching a stereoscopic trailer.

Pacific Rim reminds me of District 9 in the sense made for me and taking an old genre in fun direction.

Others looking forward to be Kick-Ass 2, Star Trek:Into Darkness and the Great Gatsby. Solid line up for my interests.

I have updated the OP thanks to Boutros.

I would highly suggest you see Kick Ass 2.

If you haven't seen Kick Ass 1, then go see it already.

I will add 300 prequel image later today or tonight.
