Forums - Gaming - Atari Jaguar titles NOT coming to the PS4, Wii U or next Microsoft console. OUCH!

I guess these consoles lack the 64 BIT POWER! of the Jaguar.  So, no Kasumi Ninja for you!  Life is not complete until you get hit by a fireball from a Scotsman's kilt!

Damn, I was looking forward to Kasumi Ninja HD....

fffffffffffffffff*ck

Good news for Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo.

preorder canceled

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Have the forums really come to this lately? :(

Screw that, I'm sticking with current Gen. That's why I bought a Wii U.

Is this confirmed? Jaguar games could be on eShop one day, and it's not like Atari hold their franchises from being on Nintendo platforms.

" lack the 64 BIT POWER! of the Jaguar." The Jaguar wasn't 64 bit, it had two 32 bit processors that the marketing team put a "+" between & an "=" after. 32+32=64.

This is obviously another "joke" thread. Man, this site has become so depressing with all these butt hurt Nintendo fanboys trying to deflect & minimize the blows they've been receiving in the form of lack of modern game and engine support. Just sad.

Oh well. According to the database here we're only missing out on just 73 games. Crisis averted I guess.

The Jaguar actually had a 64 bit bus, that could technically make it a 64 bit.  Considering most of the coding was done to the 68000, the bulk of the games were 16 bit games.  And yes, it used the two 32 bit processors.

And yes, after seeing where things have gone, I figured I would go in direction of this thread.
