Terrible. Wii would like to play Nintendo is the right choice to ask for help.

If they managed to finally get people to see the difference between 3DS and DS they will surely be able to get em to see the difference between WiiU and Wii.

What is so funny about that? Seriously man.. it was just some lame troll post. Wii U is an amazing console.

A true gamer doesn't need an explanation of the difference between a Wii and a WiiU by now. So it is clear who they are trying to explain things with this.

Simple answer to innovate the gaming industry  not like several other companies  ;)

And the other reason is so bored-to-death-people have some company to attack because they have nothing important to do in their life.   NIntendo is giving them a "purpose" to exist. xD 

It is like  "without sun/light there is no shadow"

Hopefully Nintendo learns from this and stops naming their consoles things the public won't understand.

This is embarassing. All those features on that table... You know what people will think? "My PS3/360/Tablet" can do all that and more, I don't need a Wii U!" - hell, even Smartphones can do all that stuff nowadays. So Nintendo just shows that there is clearly no reason at all to get a Wii U at this point.

What's wrong, Nintendo? You know, because your systems were well known for selling because of multimedia capabilities, right? Get some games on that sucker, the thing is starving to death fast!

Everyone is blowing this out of proportion, that looks exactly like the posters over the Wii section of every GameStop I've been to in the past couple of years. Then, they served to inform customers about the differences between Wii bundles and models. Nobody derided their "marketing strategy" back then, because it wasn't marketing, and neither is this. It's information. It's a poster, a pamphlet. The entire purpose of this is to inform Wii owners of the differences between their current system and Nintendo's new console.

Yes, it is an attempt to convince people to buy a Wii U, in a roundabout way. But it's not an invalid or embarrassing attempt just because it isn't a mass-market sales strategy. It's a localized strategy for a specific target audience that isn't represented whatsoever on this site -- hence, none of us are likely to be interested in these posters. We are already informed.
