Fire Emblem Awakening: 117,000 at retail and 63,000 digitally.

Bah. Decent but not the best numbers.

With Nintendo screwing up like they did I'd say it pretty impressive numbers.

Around the Network

Xbox 360: 302K (-29.1%)
Nintendo Ecosystem (DS/3DS/Wii/Wii U): 455K

Nintendo must've made a royal mint on all those Fire Emblem downloads at $40 a pop -- no retail cut, no manufacturing cost, no packaging/shipping fee, it's probably 25-40% more profit for a DD only copy. I wonder if they had a "shipping error" on purpose.

That's what I mean. It's just off if you ask me. Obviously I hope it's true but...I dunno. Something's off here. I don't believe VGC can be THIS far off on EVERYTHING.

Here is a word of advice i learned a long time ago... VGC isn't really accurate. They guess their numbers using past sales trends... the sales trends don't hold up all the time. On top of that the only reason they are close to the real number is because of constant adjustments to reports. If we didn't recieve those VGC would be as off as nextgenwars

I think this is my 19th NPD thread, yet I've never seen anything like this. I know there's loads of adjustments all the time, but this far off? I don't get it.

That also means everything in the combined SKU top 10 chart is above 117k!

"In a separate statement, Nintendo reported that 455,000 units of hardware were sold in the U.S. in February, pushing 3DS past 8 million units to date. 180,000 copies of Fire Emblem Awakening were sold in the U.S. in February (117,000 at retail and 63,000 digitally). Nintendo added that "by comparison, the previous hand-held entrant in the franchise – Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon – has sold a little more than 250,000 units life to date in the United States"

Hmm hard to gather much from that.

Wii+WiiU+3DS+DS = 455k

WiiU ~ 65k

Wii+3DS+DS = 390k

Wii = 100k, 3DS = 200k, DS = 90k? Something like this?

Would be my guesses, around that.

thats what they get for fucking up the fire emblem launch

I´m positively surprised by Sly Cooper, maybe we´ll get to see another iteration on the PS4 after all.

Really?  There have been massive adjustments almost every time we get hard numbers for years.  Sometimes they can't even be bothered to adjust them.  It has been a month and a half and VGC still has the DS selling more than it has shipped.
